The keyboard shortcut for the selection tool is letter ‘V’. Move Tool is used to select, move and rotate layers, shapes, text layers and other objects etc. We can move layers and objects either by dragging the selected object with the help of mouse or with the help of arrows keys. Likewise, we can also move fully selected or partially selected areas on a Photoshop Layer or Artboard. We can manually select this Tool from top of Photoshop Toolbar.
With the help of this Tool, we can move objects and layers as groups as well. For that, we need to select relevant options from the Photoshop Tools’ option bar.
